This Privacy Policy explains how the Galeon RT Analyzer and AeroMeter applications handle information. It also covers visits to their pages on galeonwhistles.com.
RT Analyzer
RT Analyzer requests microphone permission to analyse musical pitch. Audio is processed only in device memory. The app does not record or upload original audio, does not require an account, and contains no analytics or advertising SDK. Measurement history stores accumulated local statistics rather than recordings. A complete-range image or CSV leaves the device only when the user deliberately uses the system share function.
AeroMeter
AeroMeter may request Bluetooth, nearby-device or USB access in order to discover and communicate with compatible AeroMeter hardware. Measurement values, device information and session data are used to provide the app’s live display and related functions. Data saved or exported through the app remains under the user’s control unless the user deliberately shares it.
Website information
Like most websites, galeonwhistles.com and its hosting provider may process basic technical logs such as IP address, browser type, requested page and time of access for security, reliability and troubleshooting. The app pages do not require an account.
Sharing and advertising
Galeon does not sell personal information. The current app workflows do not use personal information for targeted advertising. Information may be disclosed when required by law or when necessary to protect the security of the apps, website or users.
Retention and your choices
Locally stored app data can be removed using the app’s available controls, by clearing the app’s data, or by uninstalling the app. Microphone, Bluetooth and nearby-device permissions can be changed at any time in the operating system settings.
Children’s privacy
The apps are general-purpose measurement tools and are not directed at collecting personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when app features or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page with a revised date.
